Error in running Olympus base model (Cannot open CONGSKIM.MAT)

When I tried the base scenario in Olympus model, it stops and gives me the error shown above. I checked the log file and it said the .MAT fail to open.

Does it mean the model is corrupted or what?

Thanks a lot for your time and consideration!

Often in a Cube catalog ‘Base’ is not a real scenario thst can run. The higher nodes on the scenario tree are templates with some data but not a complete set. Only the leaves are intended to be actual model runs. So you need to check that you are running a scenario that intended to be run.

Cube is reporting that it got an unexpected error from windows when it tried to open the file. So if you want to know the direct cause, you need to check that the file exists and is nonempty. Then you need to check that the file grants you appropriate permissions. Note that Cube sometimes opens files for read/write even though it is only reading them, but files resored from CD or DVD can be set read only.

Finally you may find that the file has become corrupted, as you suggest in your question.

Thanks a lot, I changed another model!
